Our Company

HeCreate was born in 2006, when brothers Ben and Jake Toalson discovered a shared vision to use their gifts in graphic and Web design. Their first job was designing a professional-looking site for Ben’s band, Progeny. Since then, the brothers have designed graphic materials and Web sites for churches, ministries, businesses and bands across Texas. See their portfolio for more information. In 2007, the brothers expanded their business to provide content optimization and photography. HeCreate desires to provide cutting-edge Web and graphic design, with professionally edited content and photography, for bands, organizations, small businesses and individuals at a reasonable price. Staff members understand the difficulty many smaller businesses have in footing the bill to look professional—but know that it is an essential piece to running any business in this media driven world. Our Staff

Ben Toalson - Co-founder/Designer/Photographer

Ben Toalson began designing Web sites in 2003 but says he was born with a love for the creative. He still has notebooks full of drawings he created as a child and teenager. Now, he simply draws on the computer. His logo design began with his band, Progeny, which had its start in 2003. He designed merchandise, including T-shirts and an album cover for the band’s 2006 release, “Distractions,” and the band’s first Web site, which he still keeps backed up in a folder on his desktop—to remind him of his progress as a designer. He occasionally freelances for a local Web design company, Full Fusion, when they need his help.“With HeCreate I find myself getting to work in the creative process and share in the passion of others, whether it be their band, or their business... I just love it!,” Ben says. Ben married his college sweetheart, Rachel, in October 2003, and they welcomed their first child, Jadon Matthew, in November 2006.

Jake Toalson - Co-founder/Designer/Photographer

Jake Toalson developed a love for graphic design during his 9th grade year in high school. He began working with various design application and even spent a few years interning for a local web and graphic design company before graduating and moving to Colorado. Jake spent much of his time using graphic art as a personall expression, creating spectacular, imaginative images. When He and Ben started HeCreate, Jake worked his local market, creating business graphics and logos for customers in the Denver area. In December of 2007 Jake returned to Texas and continues to provide excellent graphic and web design for HeCreate
